I read the first book (which is what the first movie is based off of) in two days. That was a good month ago. Now, I'm on the third chapter of the second book. Damn school is in the way :/

I have some people encouraging me to read them and some people who are saying "You're only reading it because the movie's coming out! You're not a true fan!" I don't know if I want to or not xD
I've only read the first book. Stole it from the school library late return pile for shits and giggles, ended up reading it and it was actually good.

I read the first book. Been meaning to read the second and third. Probably won't see the movie.

Tell the people who say "You're not a true fan!" to screw off. They aren't true fans, because if they were they'd love more people reading the books. Also, you aren't supposed to be a "true fan" before you even read the books.

I don't want to spoil the movie for you... but every time I write out a reply to this I include a spoiler! :( Let's just say it's much more than just that. I mean, Harry Potter was basically just about a boy who had to kill some old grouch, right? I don't know... I'd just suggest you watch the trailer if you haven't already.
