Oh my God, it just popped up on my Tumblr dashboard and I nearly screamed, I love this film so so much it was the film of my childhood.
Have any of you guys ever seen it?
The marks humans leave are too often scars.
Note: I have exams to study/revise for, I should be back around June time. If you need me, pm me for my number/facebook and we can talk there, otherwise see you soon.

You mean the one about the wild horse / stallion that had him narrating the whole thing without actually talking and the majority of the communication done between the horses with the humans (or with other horses) was done through expressions?
That movie was awesome. One reason I loved it was because the horses were not really anthropomorphic. A little, sure, but on the low end of the scale. In other words, it was narrated by the horse but the horses didn't actually speak.
While I'm fine with talking animals, it's nice to have a change.
I can't fathom why people don't like this movie. To make it even better it has an Anti-Villain (the Colonel)! Yes, for once a modern movie involving the West didn't make the white guy an evil bastard just for the sake of having an evil white guy for a villain (I'm looking at you, Pocahontas) and basically the guy was cruel but just doing his job. In the end he doesn't mercilessly hunt them down, once he knows he can't catch them and knows he's been beaten, he just lets them go.
So, yeah, one thing I really love about it was the Colonel in the movie. One of my favorite examples of an Anti-Villain, right up there with Slade from The Fox and The Hound (who, aside from being the antagonist, was shown to love his dogs quite a lot and to be an all-around good man, just grouchy and temperamental).
Sure it has it's problems like it almost tries to be too artsy at times, and while it succeeds, that sort of hinders the plot.

Overall though... it needs more love.
Assuming we're talking about the same show. XD
Indeed we are, I grew up watching it. But I haven't seen it anywhere for years until today
