Who else is excited for the return of Toonami, guys?!

It's coming on Adult Swim, which is on the Cartoon Network channel, and since they're broke and can't afford many shows right now the line up is:

11:00 p.m. ct / 12:00 a.m. et - Bleach
11:30 p.m. ct / 12:30 a.m. et - Deadman Wonderland
12:00 a.m. ct / 1:00 a.m. et - Casshern Sins
12:30 a.m. ct / 1:30 a.m. et - Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
1:00 a.m. ct / 2:00 a.m. et - Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG
1:30 a.m. ct / 2:30 a.m. et- Cowboy Bebop

At the moment, Deadman Wonderland is the one I'm looking forward to the most. But depending on where they start it at, I might record FMA: Brotherhood and Cowboy Bebop as well.

Anyway, if they get enough ratings then it might become a permanent block! Woohoo!

Honestly, I miss the days when they used to show Anime like this (or just Cartoons in general). Although with the Cartoons, they used to show them during Saturday mornings and then all of a sudden, without warning, CN started putting them back on in the mornings and it freaked me out, man! I was used to having my more teenish cartoons air at night by then! Hm, yes, well, they should stay on in the mornings like they were always meant to. Violent and/or adult oriented cartoons should be on at night!

Well, anyway, tun in, be there, or I will find out where you live and come and beat you in the face with a hammer~~ <3

Down side is I'm watching a long movie with my parents tonight so I totally have to record Bleach so I can catch the grand re-opening of Toonami... otherwise, I'll miss it.

TOONAMI, BITCHES! And I love you, Adult Swim, I swear I'll actually watch you for more than just Anime now (no I won't) because of your wonderful annual April Fools Joke is what brought back Toonami in the first place~~

Noppe, don't like anime.

It's not just about the Anime, it's about Toonami itself, that's what is so awesome about this. Adult Swim already shows Anime anyway, that's not what is so exciting, it's the fact Toonami is back, which means T.O.M. is back. And T.O.M. is made of sheer win.

This is for people to get excited to Toonami and the fact that it's back! Nostalgia and all that jazz! Besides, perhaps they'll pick up some cartoons once they get some more money. Which, personally, I would love. Toonami used to show cartoons all the time.

Out of curiosity, DeepDistress, have you ever given a good Anime a chance? I mean, animation is simply a medium, so like anything there's a large variety of it out there. Saying you don't like Anime is like someone else saying they don't like Live Action stuff, for example, it's simply too broad to be all-encompassing is all I'm saying here. *shrugs*

But I'm an animation buff, so perhaps I'm biased. I just love animation, so TV blocks focusing on any form of good animation is bound to get me excited (and yes, most of these shows have good or great overall animation -- now art, not always so much) esp. if the shows involved have a good plot, characters, story, development, etc. like this block does (with few exception).

I tried that bleach one? or whatever it is. I didn't care for it.

I guess I'm just not one for unrealistic or over exaggerated things. And a lot are in other languages so meh.

The only decent anime on that list is (was) Bleach To be honest.
Bleach got boring after 200ish episodes...and it had too many fillers.

The UK never had a decent version of Toonami. There was stuff like Teen Titans and Yu-gi-oh, but nothing like bleach etc.

Then it started to do live-action type stuff and shut down..

Bolded part: Dare you utter such blasphemy with FMAB on that list.

And I agree with the bleach comment.
