so what is your favorite manga? and give us a little summery from it plz.
mine is deep love - ayu no monogatari.
its about this girl who is a teen prostitute. she sees life as something worthless and along in the manga, she comes across a dog and a old lady. she learns that the old lady has this 'grandson' that she is financially supporting, or trying to for his major heart surgery.
the grandma dies and the girl comes to learn to love the boy and supports him by working and not selling her body. its very heartfelt so i can't really explain it that well.

My favourite manga series is Gunslinger Girl.
I think that it has very interesting ideas and I like the way that Yu Aida draws her characters. It's also about cute little girls that kill terrorists and who can speak three different languages; which is the type of manga/anime's that I like most.

skip beat- well this is about kyoko mogami whose first love is shotaro. shotaro became a famous actor and he somewhat made a fool out of kyoko, using her heartlessly. the pure-hearted kyoko seeks revenge now and went to showbusiness. she met there ren, who is at the moment, the no.1 guy in japan and whom sho wants to beat too. she thought she'd have an alliance with ren but this guy turned to be a hindrance to her plans at first but this guy actually hated her intents for going to showbusiness, which is revenge.
well, that's it. i liked it because of the unpredictable yet satisfying twist of events.

i think i've read every shoujo there is... and yes i've read deep love - ayu no monogatari. it left me feeling really depressed.. lol, what kind of genre do you like? i could throw in some manga titles for you. if u're into the more mature mangas i suggest you read Paradise Kiss. Nana's a really good read, but again.. it got too depressing for me.
i'm also reading skip beat. it's really frustrating how long the series is and how slow the romantic progress is >.< it's like vol 12 and they havent even had their 1st kiss or anything close to that.
