I know theres a way to make soda at home but I just don't know how

Main flavs I'm wanting to make are:
Root Beer
Cola
Ginger Ale
Cream Soda

I used to do it but I forgot too now lol, think it tasted better than buying cola though

I've quit buying big brand for the most part (Pepsi, Coke, etc...) and started buying the smaller/gourmet brands (Sprecher, Jones, Jelly Belly, etc...) and even though its a bit more its been worth it.

So any one know how to make?
