My mom used to have a bread baking business, but I don't think she wrote down recipes. She just made them from her head. haha
She sold out within a short time whenever she went to sell them though.
I love warm bread just out of the oven with butter on it. mmmm

Freshly baked crusty bread with butter and jam is one of my favorites.

Thats one of the problems I have found, youre meant to leave the dough for two hours at room temperature for the yeast to kick in, then knead, then leave for another hour with something over it oiled on one side so it traps the warmth and its meant to double in size but mine never does.

I am waiting for mine for two hours, then going to knead it and leave for another hour and then bake it, I will post some pics when its done, will be quite a while yet though. I dont have a loaf pan either.

Thank you, I have two, possibly three if I divide the larger one. One has butter added to it as I read it helps with the rising and keeping moist.

Heres some pictures of the bread and what it was used for It looks rather crispy and golden and thats probably due to my excessive usage of egg glazing.
