Ive noticed something when making my own bread, it just never tastes like the shops bread, not even in the slightest, the crust is always seemingly too crusty, the inners dont seem as soft as they should be or theyre too stodgy but I am not such a great cook
If youre needing to freeze it I would let it cool first and then put it in a bag in the freezer, whether it be a proper bag for food or a clean carrier bag if you dont have any.
Ive just done some reading on freezing the dough and all I got from it was that its best to leave it in the fridge over night before the day youre going to cook it to thaw and so that it can rise again, I am not sure whether thats been proved already or not though. I would wrap it in the same things myself, cooked or not but I have read that its good to allow them to freeze on a cookie sheet first and then bag them up once frozen.
I am yet to try very good tasting home made bread myself, I could try and make some now but I would probably mess it up again even with a different recipe
