Im canadian an have had them all my life, i have recently learned that the vast majority of the world has never had them. post were your from, if you've had poutine, and what resturaunt you get the best poutine at

I'm from Canada and never had it.

I had never even heard of it til just now. I googled it, and I've had cheesy chips which is about the closest I think I'd get if I put gravy on it

I've tried it a couple times but I really don't like it. Maybe it's just because of where I've had it, but it tastes really gross and greasy, in my opinion. I bet if you went to Quebec and had quality poutine, it would be better, but when you get it from fast food places in BC (where I live), it's terrible.

New York Fries makes a pretty damn good Poutine.
Also a place in New Brunswick, right before the bridge to PEI.
Dunno what it's called but it was by far the best.

ye im from eastern ontario, New York fries does good. I find small resturaunts do it old style home made and its the best

I mean I might try it soon but it looks gross.

Not sure who has the best though... I've had them at quite a few different places.
