Anybody grow their own food here? I've been reading my gf's maria menounos' book, and she talks about growing your own food and having a garden. I am actually thinking about trying it, and want to know if anyone has had experience in this?

Works great as long as you're willing to put in the effort of digging one, planting shit and weeding it all the time.

You're a little late starting one though.
As a general rule, seeds should be planted right before the last frost which is usually the May 24 weekend, that way, your plants don't die from the frost and yet they're still already growing in the ground by the time the frost is gone.

Yeah, I have a small garden of my own. I've managed to successfully grow some vegetables.
I've heard a lot about Maria's book. I've been meaning to pick up a copy, since there's a lot of workout and makeup tips, too.

I'm growing tomatoes and peppers in pots right now. The weather's been too iffy to really plant anything (and definitely too wet) so I think I might just keep them in really big pots and have patio veggies. ^_^
