I used to have my ears pierced when I was 6, but I hated them so I let them grow over. I'm happy with my body at the moment, with zero tattoos or piercings, and so I see no point in getting either. Plus I would be worried about choosing the wrong thing to get tattooed. I think Kat Von D from LA Ink looks absolutely gorgeous with all her tattoos. She pulls them off so well.

Personally, my confidence has gone up as I have added tattoos or piercings, in some ways because they are also a mark of endurance. The brand is going to be my ultimate conquest, if I can sit through the pain. I used to hate my body so much, until I realized that I have the power to change it.

I don't like piercings, but it is a choice and I have nothing against it. I do, however, like tattoos.

But if the individual does not percieve their own body as beautiful, then they aren't damaging anything, are they?
Would you think that having a dark red birthmark is beautiful? I have one, but it's been tattooed over. Do you think scars a beautiful? I know many people who have these removed or even tattooed over
