In two weeks I have a charity dinner to go to, my boyfriend will be escorting me as my date hehe.

I think I'm going to wear a very fancy dark red dress, and was thinking about these shoes in black, what do you think? To much, over the top or just right?

I want to look my best for this thing, I'll be getting hair/make done etc.

Ashlee, how tall are you, and how tall is the guy?

Those shoes have loooooooong stiletto heals and thick soles which have to raise your height to the stratosphere! Will that look OK?

I'm 5'7 but my man is 6'5 so it should just be OK right

He likes the taller heels, and I wear heels almost everyday 3-5 inches so I'm fine walking in them etc.

thanks for all the advice, and I'm not looking to be the "belle of the ball" ha just fit in with the older women who have way to much time/money to spend on getting dressed up for this stuff.

And of course look hot for my boyfriend.
