I don't really know much about the "emo" style but I think that its pretty much the same thing as "scene" right? But then there's the line between scene and gothic. Usually I see girls wearing tshirts with skulls on them or old cartoons like hello kitty and stuff like that, also pop punk band tees will do. Def skinny jeans, mainly black or colored. Either black converse high tops or neon flats (although i do see zebra prints a lot.) Are you trying to go full on with hair and makeup too? My friend likes the neon eyeshadow and straight, almost choppy looking hair. (not in a bad looking way, unless you cut it yourself ) Uhmm oh! You could get hair clips with bows on them or a headband with them attached. Studded belts of all colors will do. Also you could get cheap bracelets like livestrong-type or studded ones.
Just please, whatever you do, do not dye and tease your hair like some of the girls in the pictures. I know it looks cool sometimes, but no one will ever take you seriously. Ever.
I wouldn't say she is being a poser by liking a certain style. Its not like shes trying to be an emo, she just likes some of the outfits they wear. Sometimes I like to wear tye-dye shirts, but I'm not considered a hippie poser.
skinny jeans, band t-shirts type it in on you tube "how 2 be emm girls"it should come up with loads, tarten looking shirts are awesome and add 2 the look, black rimmed glasses are popular, black eye liner and eye shadow things like that, i went emo for a while but i am now modern punk because i like originality hope i helped
Well this depends. Do you want to go with the original "emo" look or the watered down teen version you see in high school today?
If you want to with a more traditional emo look, opt for patterned sweater vests, tighter fitting dark wash jeans, vans or converse, thick-rimmed glasses, short and straightened hair, and some eyeliner.
Modern "emo" is all about the band t-shirts it seems. So pick up a few of your favorite band's shirts from your local Hot Topic (or other shop) a pair or two of skinny jeans, some skate shoes or converse, maybe a wrist cuff and a lot of eyeliner....
