Well, I'm currently thinking of getting a tattoo, specifically of a cornflower;

Because it's a nickname given to me throughout my life by my grandmother, and my girlfriend; it is my eye colour, and the colour of my bedroom wall.

However, I really want it in front of my hip, on the really soft boneless skin to the front of the pelvic area.
Does anyone know how painful it's going to be? I only want it the size of around 3cm x 3cm.
I'll probably get it in the summer before I go to university.

I think that's a fucking sexy place to put a tattoo.
As for the pain level though, I dunno... I've heard people say the closer to bone it is, the more it hurts.... But some people don't have problems with the pain, so it all depends on you and you won't know til you try :/

Ive got a tattoo on my forearm, where there's no bone, and I've also got one under my boob.
I cant tell you exactly how much its going to hurt, because everyone got a different pain threshold and also i have not had a tattoo in that place, but what i can say is just be calm and breath, because whatever i tell you, you might not feel the same.
By the way that is a really gouregous tattoo your going to get, good luck (:
