Argument is that youre paying more for something that's gonna wear out faster.


As far as the marketing industry goes, it's brillant.

I've never owned a pair with holes in before, they dont look that bad though.

I hate it when jeans have holes in them when you buy them, because after you wash them 3 times the holes are huge!
I bought a pair of jeans from this expensive store, and the bottom of the legs on the seam were a bit shredded for looks. After washing them a few times, now it's strings at the bottom. :/
Not going to do that again!

I would never buy jeans already pre-ripped, but I have an ancient pair of Old Navy jeans that ripped not too long ago, so I just cut holes all over in them so I can wear lacy tights underneath.

I figured, it was either that or toss 'em.
