Depends. But if you ask my dad the same question he'll say that pretty much anything is too short lol

Depends if I wear leggins with them. With leggings it can basicaly right under my butt cheeks and I won't mind because of the legings. If I'm not wearing them about half way between my waist and my knee is good

Yeah, I'm with you on that one. Wearing leggings or pants under a really short dress/skirt makes it much more appropriate.

If I can see what kind of underwear you choose to wear when you bend over, it's too short. I'm one to talk though, I wore a very short dress (the second dress I have EVER worn) to homecoming.

Have your friend stand behind you and act like you're trying to pick something up off the floor. If you can't manage to do so without your underwear showing, it's too short.
