Oh Christ. Guys really don't like makeup? Without it...guys wouldn't give a lot of girls the time of day. We do it for GUYS (a lot of us do anyways) because that's the only way to get noticed.

^ I see what you mean, and i see what guys mean.. A lot of good guys, they don't care if you have make up, or you don't. but those decent, good guys, aren't ones to go up to a girl and be "Hey babe, wanna catch a movie?" So you don't really notice them noticing you.

Also, As guys who say they don't really go for the make up, most are fine with none, but if you have some just basic foundation and natural looking stuff, they mean they don't like the over the top preppy girl make up.

i think makeup shouldn't affect how a guy notices a girl! if the girl has to wear make up to impress/ get noticed by a guy usaly hes not worth trying to get to notice u, its what inside that counts if he doesn't even bother geting to know you if your not wearing make up hes not worth it there much better guys out there who actually know that what truly makes you beautiful is whats inside you and what makes u unique! and not in a jar you buy from a beauty section in a store

When girls look and dress like that they get alot of attention from boys so we just asume thats what they like us to look like? and it makes us feel pretty.

I think they just like to show off what they have if you know what I mean. Some girls dresses at certain extent just to get attention. But some are not.

Girls who wear short skirts/dresses are slags and they should die of heart disease.

Anyway most guys only get attracted to girls who throw on lots of make up. I personally don't as I do have a boyfriend who doesn't really care if I wear make up or not. Getting attention from guys make some girls feel wanted and happy about themselves.

Societal pressures to look a certain way. When you're force-fed images EVERYWHERE of what is perceived as beautiful and all the benefits of being pretty, it's pretty hard to resist that call.
