I'm considering getting a nose piercing but I'm worried about a) the pain and b) the possibility of infection. Does anyone here have one? Care to share your experience?

And my school doesn't allow piercings other than on the ears. Can you get very subtle nose studs?

A) The pain - its really not that bad, ok its a sharp pain but it bearable. It makes your eyes water though :')

B) Infections - Follow the piercers instructions - any problems go back to them and get advice!

It's up to you, but personally I wouldn't. They look tacky.

i just dont like Piercings on Men

i used to have my nose pierced for a short time. it wasn't exactly pain free, but it wasn't the worst pain either, like sparkly crystal said though, it will make your eyes water.

just follow what the piercer tells you to do and you shouldn't have any problem with infection.

It's completely your choice. If your school doesn't allow them, though, I wouldn't wear it to school at all, especially if you can get in serious trouble for it.

From what I've heard, the pain is bearable.
