Icon9 Getting in a state about what to wear to sixth form

I'm starting sixth form on the 9th of September and the dress code is "smart" and "business style." No T-shirts or jeans allowed.

PROBLEM.

I live in jeans and t-shirts. Guys t-shirts and unisex jeans. I do NOT feel comfortable whatsoever in girls' tops save for a vest top with a shirt/blouse.

What the hell can I wear? I'm really panicking and getting in a state about it. I feel like nothing suits me, I have no idea how to dress for my body shape (I'm not even sure what body shape I have) and I've been trying for the last 4 years to change my fashion sense a bit but have got no-where.

I suggest going into a woman's shop and asking them to help you figure it out; you don't necessairly need to buy brand new from them, but they same to know that they're doing the most.

I suggest buying second hand or from outlet stores (if they have them in the UK) if you are short on funding.

Maybe just smart black trousers and a plain long sleeve shirt?
I'm sure a shop would help you out if you asked.

As the others said, black trousers and a smart top! Infact, many smart tops dont look that girly!

It's not that I don't want to look girly, it's that girly things generally don't suit me >< I bought some jumpers today and a cardi with some smart trousers that I can mix and match with, still didn't find and tops though!

Fitted, plain black skirt. (It doesn't need to be fitted but that's what all the 6th form girls wear and it looks quite nice I have to say, hahaha) or black trousers. A plain white, button down blouse or maybe some with a few frills on the sleeves if you like that feminine look. That's all I've got for you, it's probably the most basic thing you can wear, and the most common.
