Default Victoria Secert and other name brands

I know this is going to sound shallow, but human are normally fairly shallow so...meh. Want do you think (boys and girls) when you see a female (or male) dressed in name brand stuff, mostly Victoria Secret? (most popular brand in my area)

Personally I love their items because the bras last FOREVER and their clothing lines are soft and always so cute. Also my name is Victoria so I guess the whole "Victoria what is your secret" is a plus... lol... Normally I buy their products only if they are on sale. Namely the semi annual sale which I am stoked for BTW. It is not that I really care what people think, but that being said I do like to look nice.

So what do all of you think? Is it annoying when people wear nothing but name brands? Do you see them as more wealthy or pleasant to be around? Do you try to rationalize spending the money like I do? With the big sale coming up and it being what majority of my friends are talking about I'm just sort of curious what people who are not really in my group think or even my school think about it

I personally don't care for what brand of clothing women wear as long as it looks original and not slutty.

I am probably more put off by women when I see them wearing really expensive clothes. I see a girl wearing expensive clothes, expensive jewelry and wearing Dre Beat headphones I kinda think of a high maintenance and expensive woman who is very physical possession dependent which is the complete opposite to me.

That said I understand people want the nicer things in life and if that is in clothing and accessories then I have no problem with it.

I used to care about brand name clothing and wore a lot of Lacoste it is expensive and it is no better looking than something I can buy from a store like H&M but that little crocodile will whack up the price. I am quite happy wearing what I think is nice and if it is branded then I will pay the money even if it is expensive if it isn't then it's a bonus and I'd be happy to wear it.

Although I will always buy branded shoes/trainers and coats, as I am a size 13 (UK), 14(US) 48 1/2 (EU), many of the unbranded stores will not go near that size so I will have to buy shoes online from branded companies. I will always buy a high quality coat when it comes to the winter because I need to be keep warm nothing to expensive but would pay up to £200 for it but it would last for numerous years.

Definitely agree, It is annoying how some name brand things are so expensive when you can get something just as nice for a MUCH better price. I'm all for a good deal, actually one of my hobbies is going to thrift shops and hunting out old name brand items and claiming them as my own with my mom, but at the same time I will usually dish out the dough if I really like something that is in store

I guess I missed the introduction...ooppss.... I joined late last night seeking help and I just sorta got hooked this mourning. Thank you by the way, and I will go introduce myself right away

In the UK... We have Paul's Boutique, Blackberry phones, the famous Dr Dre Headphones and pretty much everybody love Shambolla bracelets.

As much as I like the last one (and Beats on HTC D) some brands just get old because literally everyone owns them.

I'm not sure how long a typical American fad lasts, but here fads last for up to 2 whole years and everyone takes part.... Literally everyone, there are very few people who don't follow fads, even I'm guilty, but I always go off wearing things if everyone else is doing it...

I wish we had VS... I would love to even go to town to wear their underwear, but there's only one shop in the whole country and I doubt it they'll sell my bra size (I have a wide back...)

If someone wears all branded clothes, I'll see them no different to someone who wears non-branded clothes. I don't judge that way and usually won't notice if it's jeans (unless they're Apple Bottoms or something).

@cherrichan

Not sure where you live in the UK but is everyone obsessed with Gucci and Louis Vuitton hats/pouches and Ralph Lauren polo shirts?

@Vindaken Well... Very recently, there's these boys in tracksuits and then a random Gucci handbag... But that's not everyone yet, it's just a noticeable amount of people. (And Birmingham btw XD)

@cherrichan

Wow, so you live in Birmingham as well, so you must notice all the "Ballers" in their Ralph Lauren and Armani tracksuits. All the girls pretty much look the same as well.

@Vindaken Oh mai gosh! Another Brummy Okay, there are Armani tracksuits, but not as many as there are Dr Dres where I live... I've never heard anyone say 'Ballers' before though, that's new to me

And in real life, I don't think I've seen Ralph Lauren before on any of the people I see. I'll probably end up checking everyone now to see what they got on

When I see a girl in Victoria's Secret stuff I don't really think about Brands.

Mostly whats on my mind is "What could I do to get her to take it off"
