From this list definitely the British bands, i mean oasis, the beatles, muse, the killers are all awesome. Oh that reminds me of coldplay unless you put them on your crappy band list. but the lists arent exactly equal cause im sure there are lots of other american ones :p

I don't think it really matters where the hell a band comes from, so long as it's good.

How in the hell could you leave out him?
Lynard Skynard, Johnny Cash, Aerosmith, The Eagles, Kiss, Boston, Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR), Elvis Presley, Journey, Styx, Alice Cooper, ZZ Top, and Guns n' Roses.
Those are all American artists or bands that I can think of off the top of my head at least. All of which happen to be very good.
Although in my humble opinion I can't stand Axel Rose's voice.
