Greetings, fellow bassists.

I've been trying to master the slap and pop technique for a while now and I'm having a really hard time with it. I understand the individual movements, but putting them together and doing everything rapidly and up to speed is beyond me. I've pretty much watched every how-to youtube video there is and I've listened to a whole shitload of songs and tried to play along, but nothing has worked.

Also, my band teacher has requested that I add in some "slappin' " to music that we play in class, but I don't know what to slap and what to pop. Gah that probably sounds kinda dumb (head/desk).

Can anyone help?
