I talk to a lot of girls, and one of my favorite subjects when I talk to anybody is music. Now I talk to girls about rock an I usually get a response like "I listen to rock all the time, I love Blink 182," or "I listen to Linkin Park," or I even once got "I listen to Bob Marley all the time." Now I am not a poser, I am also not some guy who will listen to stupid talk, or treat a girl like everything she says is fucking interesting just to get laid.
Now it just seems to me either I will get this girl, or the kind that listen to all the pop shit, and other shitty music my generation seems to love. Why does this seem to be true? Again, no offense.

ahem im a girl and i love rock music. i dont like the shitty twinkling boy music other teen girls listen to likle justin beaver or christopher drew. i listen to hard rock, and some metal-ish bands. idk what you would classify Korn, Hollywood Undead, Slipknot, Apocalypta, etc. message me and we can talk about what music you like and see what we have in common....and btw did the chick not know that bob marley is reggea(sorry if spelled wrong)??not rock??

I think groove is talking about classic metal. Such as metallica, dio, acdc and stuff.

I listen to rock, classic rock and 80's metal.. Linkin park is not rock..
here is some of the stuff i listen too, and yeah, it's all common.. but hello people, it's classic rock, as in classics... LOL. And sorry it's all doubled. i copied it off my fb pages that i like and it did that. There's some I'm missing too but oh well

oh my gosh..thats like my whole ipod. there is a few i havent heard of but 9/10 of those are in my ipod.

The reason I have come to believe is that I live in the central valley, a place full of girls that almost all act the same, yeah I know a couple girls who listen to rock, but they don't know the subject the way I do. I live the lifestyle and I don't like it when they only know the band also and none of the members. And yes, she didn't seem to know the difference between Bob Marley and rock, I also hate how he gets credit for I didn't shoot the sherif when Eric clapton's version has been out there for decades.

Some guys like really crappy music too, what's your point?
