Not very many fans of extreme metal here in general, but I think that black metal is an unfairly underrated genre. Death metal is brutal and abrasive in nature, on the other hand, if you really look through all the raw chaotic stuff there is some very atmospheric and beautiful sounding black metal.

I like listening to this style of music when in the right mood.

I love black metal, but I don't listen to as many black metal bands as I'd like to. This is all great stuff that I haven't heard before. Thanks for posting this topic

Not a huge fan of Black Metal, but I DO listen to it on occasion. I agree its unfairly underrated.
