Frankly, I hate music from this century for the most part, especially hip-hop/pop/rap, with the exception of a few. However, the Gym Class Heroes churned out some decent poetical usage in that song Stereo Hearts of theirs. +20 Jared points.

Seriously? Sounds like so many other songs out there. Not really that great in my opinion. Honestly, if you're looking for Hip-Hop with real meaning then check out Talib Kweli and Immortal Technique. Obviously Drake, Jay-Z, Kanye, Nas, J. Cole etc. have lots of songs that have a relevant, legitimate message; but most people don't understand or even realise it's there.

It essentially sounds the same, which is why I was originally apprehensive. However, its a different spin on the same analogy.

A good rapper, check Hopsin.
Dope...DOPE. IMO better than IT and all other undergrounders
Check Nocturnal Rainbows(from hopsin)
Gym class heroes are pretty good i guess, but just a new school song...
I love Gym Class Heroes but I am dissapointed with their song 'Stereo Hearts'. Their older music is way better.
The only other thing they have produced that I have really enjoyed is a remix to Supertramp's "Breakfast in America"/Chokehold"

If people want to talk about message in rap then you need to hear what Rage Against the Machine has to say, Zack de la Rocha is amazing and really has messages for people to hear.
Gym Class heroes to me seem to be just like the majority of radio-friendly music out there today.
I often don't have a rhyme or reason, only a rhythm.
