I've been studying music seirously for about 7 years and i played casually for 3.

Like a boss. Are most the of percussion similar or were they different/more difficult to learn the previous ones you learned?

I've played guitar for a shy over 8 years, and piano for a little over 3. I've also had singing lessons (screaming in particular). That's all I got =/

Percussion there are similar instruments, but there are also instruments that are totally unique.

Marimba and Vibraphone are similar, but Marimba is nothing likke Timpani. Each instrument I could name to you has its own technique.

As for difficulty, each percussionist has their own stengths, for example I'm better at mallet and keyboard percussion.
