Lemmy, in the industry, is called the King by other musicians, including the Oz-man.

Robert Johnson is the most important story in rock, the second person in the industry to sell his soul to the devil, after Tommy Johnson, no relation.

Elvis is called the King, I am not sure he deserves it.

Ronnie James Dio, the best vocals in rock ever, and the inventor of the Devil Horns.

Out of all of these IMO Dio kicks ass.
I'm not good at knowing types of music to what genres they are and that though.

I think the "King of Rock and Roll" title can be given to multiple people. It transitions as different innovators come forth:

Ike Turner, for what is given credit as the first rock song. Rocket 88
Buddy Holly/Richie Valens
Elvis
Jimi Hendrix
The Beatles
Dio
