Which rockers are the most influential to you (personally)

If you play rock, what musicians do you like stylistically and which drummers do you try and emulate the most:

This is going to surprise all the people who know my drumset playing (nobody on Teen Forumz, sadly)

I don't follow Neil Peart, he's a great technical drummer and he's got chops beyond anyone's belief, but he isn't my style.

My favorite drummers are:

The Rev- Av7x (may he rest in peace)
John Panozzo- Styx (R.I.P)
Chad Smith- RHCP

Among a few others. Those are the major contributors.

Piano wise, I'm a big fan of Beethoven, but I mostly love Hayden, and Scott Joplin always puts a pep in my step. (classical, ik but idgaf)

I have begun to play bass, but even though I am a huge Chili Peppers fan, and I love the funk based rock that they have going for them, I am much more influenced by Les Claypool's style rather than Flea's, though the classical approach of John Paul Jones, does have a profound affect on my style.
