If God is omnipotent he needs to have the ability to create something he can't destroy. If he can't create something he can't destroy then he is not omnipotent. If he can create something he can't destroy then he is not omnipotent because he can't destroy it.

Well actually you are wrong, in the bible it states that god gave moses the ten commandments and showed it to everyone. Moses broke those when he saw the Jewish people worshipping Bael so then he had to go back up the mountain and write down what God said. Moses also wrote them into what we now consider Exodus.
Therefore god has actually told people what he likes and does not like and also through jesus he has done the same thing, so people wrote the bible? yes but most through the words of god and jesus and what they saw happening when they was alive to witness those days.
If you believe in god, then you believe in the bible. So me quoting from the bible you will only believe if you believe in god. If you do not believe in him then you will not believe anything that it says. I am going by what the bible says and the bible was wrote by people who had seen jesus and spoke to god and god has said he does not like people sleeping with the same sex and the person who started this thread said he does not judge people and he already has, if you believe in that of course.
But by the contradiction of benevolence and hate that would be valid proof against God.
One can't be benevolent and not like something.
Also, to vent a little, if evil was created because there would be no good without it, then evil was created for the purpose of good, then, in and of itself evil is a good thing and does not actually exist.
Holy book or not, hating people because of who they like is unchristian and stupid.
How many times does it need to be said?

Did you know the Bible was put together by a bunch on high priests over a few years in Italy. I refuse to believe what the bible says when the priests left most of the scrolls out. The Bible isn't the whole book. Its only half the story.

I am not doing anything actually because not once in this thread have I said anything bad about gays? The thread starter said god does not judge people, I said if you believe in the bible and stated a few things then god has already judged them. I am not hiding behind anything as did I ever say whether I believed in the bible? No, I said in the bible god sees people being gay as a sin and if you believe in that then you will see god has judged them by saying they are sinning.
So pathetic and inflicting my own ignorant dislike for the gay community? Was I? As I don't see where I was thanks seen as I never once mentioned what my opinions on gays or whether I believe in god and the bible. I mentioned what gods opinions was, so trying to say what I was doing is actually quite pathetic when I never said my views, just gods, If you believe in him of course.
