It annoys me how the insurance companies have been calling it a "nazi system"

yeah, have you noticed how a few bad stories can completely over ride the good ones? the NHS is actually really good, but because its paid for by the people, they don't always get enough funding. thats why they cant always afford to give a good heart to someone who will die soon after. its heartbreaking, but true.
free clinics are of course free, but they get very busy and people don't always get the treatment they need. its basically discrimination because you can't afford to be swept right through.

One thing I remember Jack Dee mentioning on one of his videos was that the NHS is clogged up a lot by people having stupid accidents, maybe if we prevented ourselves from having silly accidents the NHS would be much better having more time and funding for people who really need it through things not of their own fault/cause.

so thats why my grandad is being given an operation on his hand that he doesn't really need seeing as he's 83, but just because its rather uncomfortable for him.....?

Why Are The American People So Arrogant About The NHS!

I much prefer paying for private health care and receiving it. Why should I pay so much money and then someone else comes along and gets the same benefits as me. The government already pays for them so it's not like there not getting any medical benefits at all.
