Has anyone ever set out to mow their yard? Thinking, yeah I've let the grass get a little to tall, but I'll get this done in no time?
Only to have a hell of a time trying to get through the thick, tall grass? Having your mower stop on you ever single strip you do?
I HATE MOWING THE GRASS.
I hate yard work in general. i only do it because I like to keep up good appearances.
I am tired of always nearly killing myself on that dang hill. I am tired of having idiots of neighbors who decided to park their cars really close to the curb at the bottom of said hill.
Haha. I've never mowed the lawn. I'm the girl in the family so I do household chores but it's the same inside. It's like yeah I've let the dust get to a think impenetrable layer but I'll do it in know time. Then it takes triple the usual time.
It's just a bad mix of procrastination and laziness.
We have a really old mower, and it doesn't really work anymore, so each time you mow the grass it looks like if you didn't do anything at all... so sometimes I can go with that reason and tell my dad '' I did it, it just looks like it, remember, the mower is really bad'' my dad usualy doesn't belive me,,
But Dave I understand, because i hate mowing the grass, but with the old mower we have, it's not that bad. But what I hate it that I get so sweaty and hot and I feel that I'm doing nothing.
2 angels, taken away to soon
Will be in my heart forever ? R.I.P.
dad never let anyone mow the grass but him. then he let my sister do it and she did it perfectly. then he let me do it. within 5 minutes i had broken the lawnmower. he fixed but it took about half an hour, then he did half of it for me and watched me do the rest while shouting out better ways of doing it. that is my one lawnmowing experience. i dont want to go back to it anytime soon.
the goats of a hippie-farmer graze it all flat that green in our park.. in the rear part near to the forest fringe, we let grow everything like it want to grow - a private jungle.
I've been mowing since I was 8 yrs old.. so I've never minded the hot and drenched in sweat part... (literally drenched in sweat by the way... it never fails, but i seem to always pick the hottest and most humid day to mow.. don't ask why lol).. but usually at least i can end it with a sense of accomplishment..
But I literally just quit. I was half way done on the hill, when the mower died again.. I wanted so bad to just let it roll out into the street and die. But I didn't, cause it's new (i like my old one better.. i miss it. :( )..
I dunno, my yard is half mowed though. and i'm hoping i can get away with it like that till i move.. then i don't care anymore. XD
