haha, good! The fall of literature is in sight... the amount of people who call harry potter poorly written, and then turn around and eyegasm all over Meyer's abominations is frightening.

I think if people like it then good for them. I don't really spend all day complaining because my friends are obsessed with it. It's not really worth talking about in my opinion.

haha, agreed. I love harry Potter, although I thought the very end of the last book was more like something written by a fan than by Rowling.

If you base the usefulness of conversation how how much of an impact that conversation is going to have you might as well never talk. Some people like to bitch for the sake of bitching. It's cathartic.

I guess people sometimes just dislike rants. To me it's like giving money to the poor. It's never going to change the problem, it's a nice, but completely meaningless gesture. Still, it's nice.
