It seriously pisses me off how people seem to think that because they wear eyeliner and tease their hair, they can upload pictures onto Facebook, Myspaz (MySpace to most people), and Photobucket and call themselves emo. Im not emo myself, But i do like wearing eyeliner and black nail polish. But thats just me. It annoys te f*ck out of me!! Just because you have minimal black on your body , DOESNT MEAN YOU'RE EMO!!
What the hell is an emo anyway? Lets consult UrbanDictionary.

I know i'm being stereotypical here, but it annoys me how people go half way and are like "Oh yeah i'm a hard core emo." When clearly, they aren't. It shouldn't even be a style really... Should jsut be a choice of clothing and make-up. Labels are gay. Thats why i put salt in my cakes.

Lol YAY i finally have a thread to relate to lol . On my cousins funeral i was wearing a blue dress with a black singlet under it when we got back for the wake it was getting pretty cold so i thought i Mose well put on my track pants , 5 minutes later i have trackies on this guy comes up to me out of the blue and goes to me "are you emo " i was like wtf no and he goes oh i thought u were emo coz you have black hair and is wearing black and PINK pants and a black singlet i was like omg ..!!

Uch!! its so freaking annoying all these dumbass steryotypes.
I wear black nail varnish, in fact i do wear a lot of black clothes. But how does that make me emo. What the heck is emo, people cant just decide that other people are emo.
People who are sad are not emo. People who self harm are not emo.
And people on purpose do things so that they can fit into the category of emo, its so stupid. So emo definition must be: People who purposely change everything about themselves to be the same as others to get sympathy.
Generalising, i know. but this totally annoys me too.

wannabes fails, emos fail, whats the point in doing shit like self harm to get attention when ya can be yaself, no matter what music ya like or clothes ya wear, all the people who are wannabes shud be shot, im a goth so i know what its like to see wannabe goths, its so funny.
