My since of humor isn't Anime. I just happen to find comedy in Anime to be funny, provided it's the right kind of funny.
I also find violence in movies funny, if it's meant to be funny.
I also find real-life comedies funny, again depending.
It's just in Anime you can do so much retarded crap and that's what's funny.
Or in some cases, like Hetalia, all it really is is history but where countries are Anthropomorphic - so seeing them interact is fucking hilarious. Because it's history and some really funny shit happened in history if you pay attention closely.
I'm not biased to one thing or another, so my sense of humor isn't Anime - I just happen to find Anime more funny in comparison to most other things.
It's not for everyone, but I prefer it to other modern things. Mostly because it can get really unrealistic - like girls smacking people up-side the head with a frying pan and totally sending them flying. Funny, but not realistic.
