Okay, I go onto Anonymous Meme's, one in-particular, all the time.
Well, as a rule, Anon is Legion the thing is, often times we don't realize this ourselves.
I requested a fic involving the US and Russian Adoption Threat, a news article that came out some time today (I think) and low and behold I was the first one on the spot at the Meme for this!
So in my request, I demanded Alaska's childhood in it (because I stated in the request that America adopted Alaska... it's just too bad Alaska had Russia's personality).
Then, wouldn't you know it... another Anon requested another Adoption fic, and while different I just can't help but think there will be more.
I mean it won't ever get as bad as the Olympic-Canada-pwns-the-World-(oh-wait-who-the-hell-is-Canada?) ordeal that too place.
True, half that shit was funny, but damn Anon's! So many alike requests, all that was done was the pairings were changed.
Oh, and way before that one was the one that is STILL carrying over all this time - and that's the Financial Gangbang one.
Holy crap, I've seen so many twists on that it's almost impossible.
And to make matters worse, I think I started a tiny one of my own. I noticed a slight increase in the number of MPreg fics after an Anon filled my request for a Dark!MPreg.
I've also been noticing less and less rape fics, more fluffy sweet lets-vomit-a-rainbow-a-unicorn-and-cottoncandy fics, less WAY LESS fics involving hardcore shit, way more crack pairing that are serious.
And a few others I can't remember.
Anon's request in waves and also according to what is happening in the world.
Last week, pretty much, there was the influx of US/UK break up fics, this week it'll be US and Russia pissed at each other over the adoption thing, who knows what next week will hold.
My main point is that it bothers me how so many different people from all over the world (har har) can see something then have close to the same idea on how they can (get off on it) use it as a prompt.
Because the MODS can get strict about some of these things, Anon's don't like to have requests deleted either.
Oh, and, they also wanna have the most wimpy and most obvious bottoms as toppers. I cannot enjoy certain pairings like that - I just can't!
Also... while I get people wanna break the stereotypes... as much as I love Russia as a character, I also really love the angst and mental scaring he brings as an effing rapetruck! So it starts to annoy me how often I see people request that Russia not be at fault for something.
I bet most of you have no fucking clue what I'm talking about, right?

Uh, that seriously wasn't the point... The point was the mass requesting was whoring out Canada-kun and it pissed me off to some degree.
Esp. considering that Anon's also made requests depending on the finalists in certain events and who won those (like that guy for team Canada getting Sean White's autograph - fucking hilarious).
Or when some other random country pwned Canada. Oh, oh, and then of course that whole Men's Figure Skating. Ha ha ha, the influx of America/Russia fics were pretty funny.
In short though, Anon's had a consensual Canada/World or in some cases (my favorites cases) a consensual World/Canada.
But Canada-kun whoring himself out isn't what I like to see... it just seems so wrong on so many levers for the character (esp. considering America and France are the only two who never actually forget about him... well, I guess England doesn't either, he remembers if you remind him. XD)

I'm talking about Anon Kink Meme's.
Where people can request and fill kinks or story prompts without getting harassed on your profile for it.
I request there... a lot. Because I think too much.
This is my problem with knowing too much history. And with a story I read today... I now wish there was a canon!Israel (because there's not).
My point is, is that, Anon's tend to request a bunch of things at the same time - generally sparked by something happening in the news.
Right now, I bet a bunch of them are DYING for Iceland Volcano fics - but no, denied because the Freeze isn't over until May 10th!
Meanwhile, all we have are the fics that are being filled... my beloved fic is almost over, poo.
Good news though, Anons are doing fanart for it. My requests are so awesome they inspire awesome fills that inspire art. Yeah.
I like the Kink Meme, I really do. It's how I discovered about half of the disturbing fetishes I have. Ah, the memories (esp. considering I've only been going there since... Late Jan?).
I'm still convinced Alaska takes after Russia's (Yandere) personality... it's just faded (slightly) since he's (yes he) been with America so long.
That was the whole point. Yeah, totally.
Some requests go down in history, some kinks never get old (hey, just how many Daddy kinks can we do? Try to count them!), can never have too many historical fics, we have too much Genderbending, too much roleswitching (I hate hate hate it when they have Seme's as uke's and vice versa) - to make matters worse, authors are on revolt to a degree.

AND FOR THE RECORD, Papercup, I read a fill where the requesting Anon and filling Anon were both British and currently living in England (they said so as it was relevant to the prompt) and... they both spelled it "Pedophilia".
When I replied to tell the filler how awesome it was going to be to meet her in hell, I asked her why didn't she spell it "paedo" and she said because they both mean the same thing, "pedo" is shorter, more recognized, a tag, and worked better when using the term "Pedobear".
And then thanked me and looked forward to meeting me in hell.
The prompt was Shota!England with either Pedo!France or Pedo!America. Two fills, one of each, I loved them both.
Too bad I can't fucking find them!
Both containing the plot of Britannia Angel's magic fucking up and turning him into a child (which is really popular when dealing with Shota!Iggy).
But I digress. Point is, you can never have too much of it in Kink Meme's. Why? Because most of the time, the characters only look like kids... doesn't mean they are kids.
