Default TV Copy Cats
Honestly can't stand these networks that can not come up with something original. History Channel starts "Pawn Stars" then TruTv starts up "Hard Core Pawn" and dramas it up to attract more viewers. Same thing again History Channel starts "American Pickers" all of sudden Spike TV starts up "Scrappers" and once again dramatizes it.

Honestly networks come up with something original.

Have you seen the new sitcom that (I think) Sky are doing? It's called The Middle and is from what I've seen IT'S JUST a carbon copy of Malcolm in The Middle. The characters look the same, the plot is the same, the setting is the same ... seriously. What's the point? Doing something similar because people still enjoy it, fair enough, but a replica is boring and a little insulting.

Ah, Spike TV...

I'm just surprised there hasn't been a lawsuit yet.
Although if they are different then perhaps it isn't a rip-off. What I mean is the dramatization.
So long as everything isn't exactly the same, you can get away with it.

Just saw the advert for The Middle. One of the kids is definitely Dewey out of Malcolm in the Middle.
I hate the way they copy other shows because they think it will be as good. It doesn't work.
