Default Don't be surprised if you hear my name on the news

being charged with murder, because I'm pretty sure that's what I'm going to do when I go home this weekend and find my house in a mess.
I probably spend about 95% of the time with my brother-in-law contemplating the most satisfying way to do it, starting with his stupid as sin dog.

It's like living with a child who is incapable of cleaning up after itself or making ANY good decisions whatsoever, except that our "child" is 25 years old.

There's absolutely no good excuse as to why he cannot pull his weight around the house at all. He works 8-4 Monday-Friday at a desk job and then sits around on his ass drinking beer and playing video games because he's a lazy, unmotivated alcoholic.

My husband on the other hand will work 7am-6pm at a physical labor job, come home and get some cleaning done while he makes them BOTH dinner.

I go to school all week 2 hours away and work part time on top of that.
i then come home and do mine and my husband's laundry and do their grocery shopping but can my brother-in-law lift a finger to help with shit? No, not at all.

Most weeks, he barely squeaks by with enough money to buy food for his stupid dog,gas for his truck and beer in the fridge. Notice how I didn't include food for him?
Yeah, that's because he thinks he can take his damn sweet time paying me back and buying beer instead.

Most recently though, and this is the best one; we have two BBQs,one needs to be fixed, the other just needs more propane. but the only station that sells it within 30 minutes of us is closed for renovations, so what do they do? They buy a new one and split the cost and "our half" was the grocery money his brother owes me which I used some of my school loan to pay for btw so it's not like it's my husband's and my money, it's MY money and for whatever reason, my husband seemed to think that this was okay.
IT'S NOT OKAY.

I text my husband an hour ago and told him to let his brother know that It was my money that bought them food, and that I did not agree to put my OSAP money towards a BBQ that we don't need and that I'd take my repayment in 20s as soon as he gets home Sunday night or else I would just be taking it out of the rent money we give him.

I'm going to strangle him.
Also not happy with the husband atm.
I live with retards.

Your brother sounds like a leech.I cant stand that, people living with others and expect to sit around and let someone else take care of things as if theyr disabled.

EXACTLY!
fml.
And for whatever reason, when my husband and I go out for dinner, he always feels the need to invite his brother a long even though he doesn't even have money to pay for groceries, how the hell is he supposed to afford to go out for dinner!?

The answer?

That's right. We pay for him.
Every single time. The most recent of which was also paid for by my school loan and my husband does not understand why i want to move out.

Men...
Nah but that's so shitty :/ I hope problem gets solved quickly. And your brother-in-law needs to grow up, definitely :0

Suddenly my eyes are open
Everything comes into focus, oh!
We are all illuminated,
Lights are shining on our faces
We are, we are blinded !

We are, we are blinded !

What a bloodsucking little toad. You have every right to be upset. In times like these, you need to set your foot down, and set it down hard. If he doesn't want to pay you back, kick him out! Regardless of how your husband feels. If he keeps leeching off of you you're going to end up worse for the ware, not your brother-in-law.
