My Hair!
What have I done!?
My hair has always been one of the best things about my physical appearance. No matter where I go, if my hair is down, that's the thing everyone always calls pretty or beautiful.
I was stupid in jr. high and I cut a knot out of my hair so I had to get my hair cut short. But finally after years and years of growing it out, it finally reached my waist!
The goal was to grow it out long and then gradually cut off the black from when I dyed my hair.
So yesterday, I go to my hairdresser and I get it cut to my shoulder blades. Some of the black is still there I might add.
I miss my long beautiful, but hard to manage and expensive, hair! So what if it was always a ball of poof and I went though conditioner and shampoo very quickly?! I loved my beautiful, thick, brown hair!
It has upsides however. I don't go through shampoo and conditioner. It's easier to manage and pull up. And I don't have to use a beach towel to wrap up my hair after getting out of the shower anymore. I can actually use a hair towel!
Also when my hair sheds in the shower, it's not as long so it really doesn't get stuck in places I'd rather not mention.
But still! My hair! It will be missed. Now I can't pull a Lady Godiva anymore! That means I actually have to use my hands to cover my chest whenever people walk in on me changing. That's gonna take some getting used to. Because my long hair would always naturally fall forward so it would cover my chest and stuff.
Wanna know why I cut it? Because I live in Texas and it's Summer and I had too much hair to fit into my wig, even when my mom adjusted it right, it still was too bulky. I had a lot of hair and it was very thick.
But I'm going to grow it back out during the Fall and Winter. When Spring comes around I'll get more black cut off. And then I'm growing it down to my waist again.
