Ugh.. I just feel like I just can't take it anymore.. I'm bored out of my mind. All I want is to be able to go out and do something! I've dropped subtle hints on facebook, saying things on my status like "I'm fed up of being bored everyday" and "I want to do something" - I've even wrote on my status like 3 times "Does anyone want to do anything?" Nothing. I've had "Maybe" but no actual plans. I've told one of my friends how bored I've been and asked her loads of times if she's coming out. She always responds with "I don't know". This week I did go out with her and another friend, and it was fun, but every other day I've just been amazingly bored doing nothing. A few times, I have asked her if she wanted to go to the cinema and she said she did, but she's never said when and I have asked her when she wants to go. It might seem like I want other people to make the effort to ask, but I don't want to ask that friend anymore because I feel like I'll just look desperate and obsessive. I have a few other friends but I don't want to ask anyone directly because they might think I'm being weird.. I have tried though.. Ugh, tomorrow I might just go for a walk. I have no idea where I'd walk, but it seems like there's nothing better to do. I just can't stay in my house doing nothing anymore - I feel like I'm losing my mind. T__T

Pretty much my life in a nutshell. No one's interested in doing anything with me so as a result I just end up at home all day. Hopefully it'll change when I have a job.

I ain't got nowt useful to say really. Just thought I'd let you know that you're not the only one out there.

Have you texted any of your friends and asked them personally to go out with you? Sometimes you have to take the initiative; my friend Lindsy has only asked me to go somewhere once, while I've invited her to go to the movies or shopping or to the waterpark about thirty times. Sometimes people may just be shy or feel it's rude to ask; you need to do it yourself if you want to go anywhere .

I wouldn't really want to ask someone directly, but maybe I could try instead of waiting around for someone to comment on one of my statuses. I just don't know if they'd actually want to go out with me.

I already told you that you should do something on your own ! You really need to fill up your time. inactive life is so boring, I know.

I've asked one of them on msn but that's it. Yeah, I know that's what some people feel, but I also feel like that too - I'm not sure if they would want to go out with me. When my friend gets back from her holiday, I might invite her to do something or go out with her and her boyfriend who's also my friend..

Hmm. Well, sometimes you just have to ask and not let yourself feel awkward about it . I never feel awkward about asking people to go places; if they say no I don't usually take it personally.

Like Syrian said, maybe just go someplace with your mom or just by yourself? It can be boring and uncomfortable by yourself, but if you really want to go somewhere you might have to .

What about learning to play the guitar ? I saw a thread for you about that once....

Yeah, I will try not to feel awkward about it. It's just sometimes I can't think of things people would want to do or how to ask. My friend did say she wanted to do something in the holidays

I don't feel uncomfortable by myself unless there are other people in groups around me, so I could do something by myself.
