Misanthropyis generalized dislike, distrust, disgust, contempt or hatred of the human species or human nature. A misanthrope is someone who holds such views or feelings.
I consider myself to be a hardcore misanthrope, frankly because people piss me off to the extreme. I don't hate humans as people, but rather how selfish and wretched we've become as a whole. Every single day something happens that pisses me off. Whether it is rudeness, a tragedy I see on the news, or how selfish politicians are. Seriously I really dislike modern day American politicians, all of 'em. They don't really care about anything except themselves for the most part. They put us in bankruptcy and are too concerned with their 'politically correct' agenda to even consider what we as a whole think. Never once have they taken a vote to see what the rest of the entire 40 trillion people in America thought about what they should do. I know not everybody here is a Christian, but I am, and I find it very funny how shows like Family Guy, which I love btw, can make Jesus jokes almost every other episode then when South Park makes a Mohammed joke then suddenly the fucking world ends. And they expect us to take them seriously? Not only that, but people are just rude and wretched to the core. From simple stuff to being a jackass in the middle of class or some really cruel things I've seen done to people during my travels to Europe and America (my dad is a Marine, we travel a lot). I'll give you an example of each. In Literature class, we have an awesome teacher, he actually tries to make his stories interesting, he's funny, he hasn't yelled at us not even once yet. BUT!!! When he's taking roll all he asks is that we please be quiet, he's not even commanding us or demanding, he's asking nicely. But yet there's always that dickhead who can't shut the fuck up for five seconds so he can take the roll. Really grinds me gears, every single fucking day I have to resist the urge to punch someone square in their face with brass knuckles. Another example was when one of my friends brother's was horribly injured in a car accident while I lived in Europe for the 3 years that I did, so someone else manipulated her words and said that her younger sister had gotten bit by a shark (yes I'm serious) and that she was in the hospital. Basically the ending was both of them got kicked out of school, because it's a really really long story. Also, the mass media really pisses me off. When Amy Winehouse died, the mainstream news networks basically had some 30 minute investigation and backstory on her problem. Okay. . . BUT! When the Norway attacks happened, they barely mentioned that at all as compared to the Amy Winehouse story!! I don't have a facebook because I think it's stupid but people were posting a whole hell of a lot of replies saying 'R.I.P. Amy Winehouse'. Okay, I can respect you showing homage to her if you were a fan of her music, but when the Norway attacks were posted nobody really hardly posted anything helpful at all. Me personally, I really honestly don't give two craps about Amy Winehouse, she was a crackwhore who was going to die anyways due to drugs. There was a website even trying to calculate when she'd die. It's unfortunate that she died of drug abuse, but I feel a hell of a lot sorrier for the families and friends of those dead teenagers over in Norway. People just care way too much about celebrities. Like they'll show a 30 second clip "Sgt. Major Thomas Reynolds was killed saving his platoon from an explosion. . . ." and yet they have a 30 minute special when some stupid fucking celebrity dies. My dad is a Marine as mentioned before and it really pisses me off when people care more about some crappy ass actor than people who willingly sacrificed their lives for this screwed up country we live in.
Also, organized religion pisses me off. I'm non-denominational Christian, because what's the point of really having denominations, really?? We all worship the same God, what is up with that? Also, some Christians make crap up that's totally not true which causes Atheists and other things to hate us even more than they did before. There are certain Christians out there that just give us all really bad names and just make us all look like retards. So I just choose not to follow any specific church or denomination because they're all fraudulent to some degree. I am a Christian nothing more nothing less and my beliefs are much different than most Christians nowadays. . . . but that's another story. People are so ignorant and stupid nowadays, from stupid stuff like calling me a satanist because I listen to bands like Immolation and Cannibal Corpse when I'm clearly wearing a rightside up cross. stupidity at its best, folks. . . There's got to be some of you out there who share my views on this.

About the thing with your dad being a marine and people caring more about an actor or other celebrity. I whole heartedly agree.
When the massacre in Norway occurred, no one mentioned it on facebook, okay who cares. But none of my friends seemed too care (apart from me, one of my families closest friend is Norwegian so we were concerned).

I don't even think Amy Winehouse was talented at all, listen to that song I posted. As harsh and grating to the untrained ear that is, that song took more talent to write than anything Amy Winehouse ever put out. You have to be able to shred and riff properly on a downtuned guitar. Those blast beast require a lot of stamina in order to be able to keep up for even a short period of time. And V.I.T.R.I.O.L.'s screams are insane, do you know how much lung power it takes to do that? As an extreme metal vocalist myself, I can't shriek like that, one fuck up and your voice is done, yes I'm serious. Just shows how America's musical tastes have also gone down the fucking shitter.

just a half hr ago my friend was trying to convince me that Lady Gaga's songs are deep.. (compared to classic rock/metal and in general) I was like 'Born this way' we're taught from preschool to be ourselves, how the hell is that deep?! and then he starts picking on my songs lol.

and frankly Lady Gaga is the least talented artist to ever exist in my honest opinion. She's a shitstain on the boxers of music that needs to be bleached off immediately.
Yeah, and not to mention people like her, Pink, Katy Perry, all them they're edited SOOOOO much. It's like their music is crap, even with editing.. Music I listen to they recorded it and just used it, barely any editing. and songs back then actually had meaning.. not pissy small stuff.
