So I get my results tomorrow for my final high school exams called "GCSEs" and I keep saying to everyone that I wanna go alone and just do this whole "opening the results" on my own. I asked my boyfriend to go with me but he was working so I'm kind of stuck on my own which I don't mind as I prefer it to taking anyone else. My dad phoned tonight and asked when I was going, I told him, I just assumed he was asking because then he knew when to phone me. He then started saying oh I'll go with you etc.. I repeated myself to him many times saying "No, don't go, I want to go on my own" it just pisses me off that he never listens to what I have to say. If I do bad in these exams then I want to sit and go over what I've done wrong, last thing I need is him all up in my face shouting at me. So yeah he's going now.. I'm still pissed about it but it's not like I can do much now.

I worked so fucking hard in these exams, I just wish he'd appreciate my decision of going alone and working things out myself.

If u wanna go alone u should. Plus I'm wit u, I would wanna go alone tooo. Just lie and say they are delayed for a day, and then go alone haha. Godd luck at any rate.

I can understand why your parents want to go with you- it's a big moment that your parents want to remember, but I can also understand why you would like to go on your own.
