The people who run it, I mean.
We have a new grading system called Genesis. The problem is, no one knows how to use it. My high school is infamous for blindly adopting in new technological systems without testing them, and so, as usual, the grading system is a complete mess. Each student has a unique password. There are 3060 students total. The school could
not figure out a way to distribute all the unique passwords to everyone, so we had to do it in class, searching through a database of 3060 people to find OUR own password. It took an entire class period.
Now the grading for teachers isn't working. Teachers imput grades, save them, and think they're permanent. They aren't. When they shut down their computers, then log back on, all of their grades have disappeared. So
no teacher in the entire school has grades up, and school has been in session for three weeks.
My school is run by idiots, truly. We've had three different grading systems since I was a freshman and they've taken MONTHS to work efficiently. Then they decide to change it once it starts running smoothly! I just don't get it. It's like the school board is
trying to cause problems.
Urgh!
