just went swimming for like.... an hour, to relax a lil bit.
i had skye near the table in her bouncer while i was in the pool, because no one wanted to watch her for a lil while.
and my sister comes out, and lets her fucking dog out of its cage!!! where did the dog go???? straight for skyelynn!!!!!! my sister KNEW skye was there!!! and she let the fucking dog out!!!!!!!!!
i am calling animal control... when that dog plays, he bites too. and when he bites my child, is where i draw the line with him!!!!!!
Did you call animal control yet? I wouldn't. You will get in more trouble for leaving your baby unattended (though i know it wasn't like that) then she'll get in trouble for the dog. Just try and relax, you're moving out soon.

Not to start shit, because i agree, she shouldn't have let him out, however instead of calling animal control right away, I'd yell at your sister and give her the choice of either putting her dog in obedience classes to correct its behavior or have you call animal control because it's not the dog's fault. They aren't inherently misbehaved, it's simply their master's training them that way whether knowingly or not.
My dogs have both been extremely unpredictable,protective and generally aggressive breeds and people had warned me against them,but they are(were in the case of our previous one) the biggest,friendliest sucks in the world because of the way I trained them. I'd have people commenting all the time on how kids,other dogs and cats,rabbits etc could just climb all over them and they would just lay there and take it. Even with our old dog, he did have a tendancy to sometimes jump up on people, but even with his size and height(think of a great dane sized rottweiler) he could jump up on someone who is barely 5' tall and they'd barely even feel it.
On the other hand, even a golden retriever or a lab in the hands of the wrong person could turn out extremely violent, so put the onus on your sister to help her dog and you.

I didn't know the dog actually bit her. But again, I wouldn't call. I know you had a eye on her and everything but people wouldn't like you being in the pool while the baby was in something, they just wouldn't. So Id just try and tough it out till you can move out.

my sisters dog is a pit bull. people have warned her before about calling because he is soooooo loud, he does not stop barking. he would be better behaved if her and her bf did not hit the dog when he was bad. she leaves him cooped up all day, outside in the heat, in the cage. i mean, i know it wasnt HIS fault that he bit skye. he has never seen/been close to the baby.

Well you definitely need to report her for abusing the dog. It's NOT right that he's out all day in a cage, no room to run, you live in Florida........ Does he even have water in there? and yeah the beating him every time he's bad is stupid, there's better ways and your dog won't respect you or listen if he knows you just hurt them, trust is what you need with dogs.

poor baby, it's so hot and locked up, not right. You can call and it's anonymous but knowing your sister she'll blame you without knowing. But you need to report it, that's not right to that poor dog at all. It's FL!

she does give him water.
and ice.
she is all like "ohhhh you are my baby i love you!!!" to the dog yet she treats him like shit.
ima call tomorrow.
she will know that it is me. because she doesnt really hit him when she takes him "for a walk." which is just up to the end of the street then back here and into the cage. she lets him run on the lanai for about 10 mins every night, IF he is good :( i love that dog, BUT after he attacked me....
