Terrorists induce Terror in their victims. TERRORists have done just that, because now, whenever I want to fly in an airplane i need to be searched from inside to out because people and the government are terrified.
Yes, we've killed osama, but that means nothing, because Americans have been living in fear since 9/11
RIP to those who lost their lives, and fuck the terrorists who ruined my childhood.
Hmm. I see what you're saying. I'll disagree though, respectfully of course. I haven't seen signs of any terror really. I haven't been living my life in terror. I'm pretty sure the majority of people around me aren't either. To be honest, Airport security was kind of a joke before 9/11. Needed a makeover anyways in my opinion. I do see why you would say what you do based on that fact though.
Then fuck all the soldiers, killing innocent people all around the world, America seems to want everyone to mourn over 9/11, but bigger, more catastrophic tragedy's like Hiroshima and Nagasaki are barely ever thought about, when they had much bigger effects on peoples lives, even today.
It is sad that the world has to live in fear in so many cases...not just because of the 9/11 and terrorists in general, but because of wars, of murder, abuse, all that's bad in the world.
It's sad that there has to be so much security. It's sad that nobody can trust one another unless they know each other well. The way our world's turned out really is sad.
But if we can remember the things which happened and do everything possible to stop them from happening again, and try to move on, maybe we can not let them win and try not to live in so much fear.
Everyone who died was a part of what the world is today so I guess all we can do is try to make the most of it and make it a better place for others.
Over here in Ny, It's a mess today. My mom can't hear anything about 9/11 because it causes a panic attack. Yet, on every channel and main websites, she sees tons and tons of stuff on the subject.
My mom headed to work late that day since she had a doctor's appt. She reached work just as the second plane hit. Since my mom saw it and she had left the last train leaving Manhatten, she had to run across the Brooklyn bridge in 2 1/2 inch heels. She was covered from head to toe in the pieces of falling debris. She picked me up from kindergarten and my teacher tried to clean her up as best as she could. But my mom now has asthma, and a whooping cough that only goes away temporarily on strong steroids.
My sister was born 4 years later and she also has asthma because of the damn dust.
That day was so damn horrible because my uncle works in the tower 3 and they werent sure if it would be hit. We didnt find out he was alive until 10 o'clock that night since he had walked on the other bridge.
9/11 was an effective terror plot. I hate the security measures but it is better to be safe than sorry. But sometimes they go too far. A diabetic lady was being searched and she didnt realize until she was on the plane that the airport security patrol stole her stuff and wouldnt give it back. She made a big fuss and she had to sue the airport company since before hand she said she was diabetic, she has to carry that medicine or she'll go into diabetic shock, and the airport security threw away her stuff even after she had shown them her prescription from the doctor. Of course she won in court.
History is written from the perspective of the winner, and we won, so we wrote history
No it's not? That's a retarded thing to say. History is made from all perspectives, just you choose to be arrogant to other people's perspectives. What I've gathered from that is that you don't care about American forces killing innocent people, so why should we care about innocent Americans being killed?
