So I guess this was expected.. I am doing A levels but I just feel like I'm about to collapse..

I come home and straight away before anything else I start doing my homework..I'm meant to do 5hours a night.. fair enough.

But my history teacher like overloads me, I've spent 8hours in total since Monday doing his homework.. last week I spent my birthday and sunday doing his homework.. I spend EVERY NIGHT doing fucking history.. WTH DOES HE THINK I AM? SOME DAMN MACHINE? I love history but the work he is giving is actually unbelievable. He marked my first ever essay and gave me a "2" and you need 3 to pass the essay so I literally just read now on the essay that he wrote "You need to re-do this or Study support" Study support is for people who don't do homework to a good standard.. I spent 2hours on that essay.. I've spent today from 5pm to 10pm doing history notes and the last few days doing his 7 activities and now he wants another essay?

OMG I just want to cry.

8 hours is ridiculous
there is a lot of homework in the 6th form (i just started) but that just sounds like he is too lazy to teach you everything so makes you learn it yourself.
how the hell is there enough work in the syllabus to set 8 hours in 3 nights???

Lol, no-one listens to me when i tell them not to take history haha
I wish i never took it, it's a pain in the butt.

I guess u should concur w/ your class and try to convince ur teacher to reduce HW amount..and tell him that u r human..not robots!! remind him that u have other subjects than history u need to work 4 or anything like that!! if the whole class participated the teacher might understand..or if it didn't work..just try to go to the principle!!

I meant in history.. what area are you studying

The jump from GCSEs to AS is supposed to be big, I know what you mean though, my brother comes home, does his homework and goes sleep, practically no fun :/

But A-levels are a make-or-break time, just endure for two years then you'll be laughing!! You know how quick time goes nowadays

I have only done equalities in America out of all that, i'm also re-taking it because i got a D in it.
Just use your time wisely.. and inform your teacher you have subejcts to concentrate on too.

My brother did history in his first A level year, but he dropped it in his second year, he had loads of history homework too!!
Just gonna have to grin and bare it, hopefully it'll be worth it in the end
