Today we had football (soccer) try outs and there was one point where we were put into groups of (2 on one side of the 20m line and 3 on the other). So basically it was 1 person from the 3 person side sprinting up to the guy on the other side, tagging him so that he can run to the other side and tag the next guy and so on. So we had to see how many laps we could run in 1 minute, then 1 minute 30 second, and then 2 minutes. Had 1 guy in our group go down cuz he injured his leg so I had to take over for him. And then 2 fat asses just sitting around cuz they were too unfit to keep on going after 4 laps. So basically just me and another guy sprinting non stop back and forth for 3 guys. And the stupid coach didn't say a word to us or praise us for our efforts, he didn't even say anything to the fatasses on our team cuz he's friends with their parents. So the whole time I'm sprinting all I hear is the fatass coach encouraging his elephantine son and praising him for his lackluster efforts while nobody else gets a word, not even me and the other guy on my team (Who did the most work out of everyone today). So his son then proceeds to kiss his dads ass by offering to carry around the big bag of footballs, lay out the cones, and "attempt" to get everyone in place for the next exercises, all in an attempt to be chosen for the team which he most definitely does not deserve but probably will be anyways. Meanwhile I'll probably be overlooked because I'm only in year 11 and most year 11's don't make the team no matter how good or dedicated they are just because they think we can't handle the year 12s and 13s, which is fucking retarded because they let us try out anyways.
So fucking pissed. And when I'm describing the people as fatasses they actually are.

You ain't ‘customed to going through Customs, you ain’t been nowhere, huh?
Being part of a team means giving encouragement and support to other team mates.
IMO, you're being a really shitty team member too.
You're in better shape than them?super duper, so they require more encouragement than you do.
Suck it up kiddo.
Totally: "Hey John, I'm doing 10x more work than you and putting in 10x more effort just so I might get noticed by the coach and be considered for the team! But keep going the way you're going buddy, you're a star athlete in your dads eyes! Who cares if you don't work at all!? You're gonna make the team anyways because your dads the coach! Good job kiddo, keep it up!"

Hey, earn you keep. If kissing up is what you have to do, kiss up. In order to get what you want, sometimes to have to fuck your pride and do shit in order to get things done. There's no I in team, and if you don't make the team, well, see you next year.

Re: Fucking daddys boy
Meh I think you're hating on the wrong person here. Besides, football's never been about sprinting, you have to get on the pitch and PROVE you're better than the rest by sprinting circles around them and ultimately, being a team player.
As one of the youngest there, you won't get much attention, but hone your skills so you'll easily be one of the best next year.

My dad was a footie coach
It was part of the interval training we were doing, which is very much a big part of football.
