Water is prohibited! Juice is allowed!!!

It's really the time for humanity to take a dump.

this can be a health hazard and a legal issue

Schools have the craziest rules ever ! , a kid in my class dehydrated because he wasn't allowed to drink in class , but as said before rules are rules.

I realize that rules are rules, but I find this ridiculous. David has been sick. He needs to have water on him and think that any reasonable person would understand that.

For the record, we're not supposed to have drinks on the front lanes by the registers, but given the fact that I dehydrate easily, I was given permission by my boss to have water, Gatorade, or Pedialyte on me at any time after I nearly passed out last year due to dehydration.

I understand that rules are rules, but this one? Stupid.

I would understand it if you were doing chemistry or some kind of hands on science where water might contaminate whatever your doing or something though.

I've never had detention myself but school rules are stupid.

It sucks :l You should have been given an exception considering you've been ill.

Was this in science class by any chance? Because my school has a rule against any fluids-even water-in science classrooms because they think you'll end up ingesting chemicals or something. Still, that's a really stupid reason to write someone up, so sorry about that :(
