But yeah thats harsh, same at my school really. And we cant drink water in the Science classrooms and my form room is in a Science room D:
I once got a detention for taking part in a water fight.
I just happened to be walking near-by, with a bottle in my hand.
Schools always have some stupid, ridiculous rules. Honestly, I think you drinking water in class is a stupid thing to give out a detention rule; over here I don't think they're allowed to ban you from doing that unless it's near a computer. Unlucky mate.
we always have bottle water , but we cant bring other drinks ( i do..) when a teacher sees a person with food or another drink says to Go out and eat /drink it.. or to put it away..
Not detention
sometimes we put up walls , not to keep people out, but to see who cares enough to knock them down.
i used to get detentions all the time for having a water bottle. (that was my freshman year, and i never counted them as "real" detentions) i finally got a note from the nurse >.< haha. she gave me a note and a bottle of water every morning XD
My teacher gets her jollies by not letting me go to the bathroom, even when I'm done with all of my classwork and I'm in visible discomfort. Yep, school has lots of pointless stupid rules. Hopefully you won't get detention.
Like Zach said, rules are rules. At my school, we get expelled for having a laser pointer. So, we don't bring laser pointers.
It sucks, but tis the rules.
