Urgh; they can't even put aside their differences for one fucking day - my brother's birthday. It's more difficult for me than anything because I'm the middle man in all this and have to listen to both sides ranting at each other. Apparently a few minutes ago my Dad called my Mum a "heartless bitch"...didn't know she was upset until I found her crying. I tried to comfort her for a bit, but I my Dad entered the room and I quite literally froze; talk about awkward. I don't think my brother's noticed, but he did seem a little upset earlier. Dad's gone out now and fuck-knows where my mum is.

I'd just love for this family to be happy again. Yet another thing that I care for that turns to shit.

Can't you take you brother out for a bit and let your parents know that when you come back you'd like them to have sorted it out and to act civil as it is your little brothers birthday.

I've offered to take him out next weekend to the cinema; a bit late but at 'least he'll get out-and-about and we can spend some time together.

I spoke to my Mum about it and suggested marriage counselling. I doubt they'll do anything as they're stubborn, but...meh...I tried.

I think taking him out for awhile is good, even if it's not his birthday just getting out and yous hanging out without the stress of home life will be great.

my parents used to argue when i was very young , i still dont know why! i tried to ask them why they divorced! anyway... its their life... they can do what ever they want i simply love them both
