my grandpa thinks i have to do EVERYTHING his way!!!! HIS WAY!!!!!! NO!!!! i am NOT shopping last fucking minute for things for my apartment!!!! he seriously pisses me off!!!! i asked him if it were possible to build a platform bed. and he said yes. soooo we are. fine. but when i told him i am going to walmart tonight, to get some small things that i will need for the apartment, he flips!!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!! just because he does everything last minute, doesnt mean i have to!!!! i mean, i want to get some small things, like some storage things, maybe some kitchen things!!!!!! UGGGGGGGGGH!!!!!!!!!!

It sounds like you're both overreacting to be honest. Such trivial things as shopping shouldn't start arguments. You should respect your grandfather's opinions and decisions but he should respect yours and realize that you're at an age where you can make your own decisions without having to have him telling you what to do.

I suggest you might want to sit down and talk to him about it. He'll understand where you're coming from, or at least he should.

im 19, and i need to do things on my own. i told him my plan and he pretty much said no you cant do that. its only september blah blah blah. i move out the end of october/beginning of november.. the only reason i got very angry is because when i was talking, he was talking over me. of which i didnt mention in my original post.

i mean, i did somewhat over react while writing this. we werent screaming at eachother or anything. well, i had to speak over him soo he would listen.
