This is just something that's been on my nerves lately. It's okay for foreigners to insult the United States, but if you say the slightest negative comment about their country people immediately starting yelling, "RAAACISM RACISSM RACISSSM RACISSM RAAAACISM!" until you say, "Yeah I'm sorry country X is better than us white, american pigs! I'm sorry!" Just bothers me.
And yes, I'm fine with people insulting the US; its by no means perfect. In fact, due to right wing extremists fucking things up, we are very far from perfect. But it irritates me that its considered racist to talk about other countries with even worse problems in a negative way. Like you can say, "Americans are fucking idiots" but you can't say, "South Africans are fucking idiots."
There's this black kid in me and @Pokemon Master's history class who always talks about those "stupid white people." and how he wants to "slap them and will probably lead to another black man in jail".
I can't stand the double standard either. Its annoying.
"A toothache, or a violent passion, is not necessarily diminished by our knowledge of its causes, its character, its importance or insignificance".- T.S. Eliot
I call everybody a fucking nobhead when I honestly believe they are, nobody calls me racist though :p I don't think it's racist to call somebody stupid. So I'm not understanding this thread? I've never heard of anyone being called a racist for saying something like this.

What I'm saying is...
It's okay to say, "Americans are fucking idiots."
But it is not okay to say, "Algerians are fucking idiots."
Basically, where I live at least and a few websites I go to, its okay to be prejudiced against certain nations/groups and not others. For example, the US is a big country with a large influence, so that means people think it is okay to say that Americans are the lesser race and are genetically inferior. But Algeria is a small (relatively) country with a troubled history and mostly nonwhite people, so it isn't okay to say that Algerians are the lesser race and genetically inferior.
Sorry if this doesn't make any sense, I'm bad at explaining things. FYI, if this makes me sound racist, I'm not and in fact racism is related to the thing I'm rantin' about.
Oh right, I understand better now. Oh well, there's nothing we can do about it, people are always going to be like this

South African's are fucking idiots.
Algerians are fucking idiots.
Americans are fucking idiots.
I'm a fucking idiot.
We're all fucking idiots (with a few exceptions in my POV)
Happy?
I don't think 'Americans' are stupid at all. However, there are stupid Americans. Same with every other country on earth.
In fact, due to right wing extremists fucking things up, we are very far from perfect.
And on the same token, if you say left wing extremists are fucking things up, you're a hateful bigot who clearly has no soul. Even though it's the exact same thing. Oh wait a minutes, that's not what you were talking about! It's just another double standard stereotype you were complaining about. I agree with the basic principle of what you said, but come on dude, practice what you preach.
Everyone's a fucking idiot in some form are fashion. No matter what, you should never generalize everyone like that. It's called a *cough cough* stereotype.
Here's the dirty little secret, I don't give a damn where you're from. You're all fucktards. As soon as you call me racist for calling you personally a fuckwad, well obviously I was right in calling you that.
I never call anyone stupid based on were they live or were born, the whole concept alone is stupid. I call people stupid based on their actions, not their color, creed, politics, or nationality.
So if you're gonna call someone stupid, do it fucking right.

. In fact, due to right wing extremists fucking things up,
Be careful of hyperbole. Most political scholars and analysts say that most politicians and ideas in the US mainstream are very centrist ideas. If you call those people extremists than the English language lacks a word for the true right wing radicals. The fact is the American government and most of it's participants are pretty centrist.
As for the double standard, I feel such a thing is inherent modern Western societies but that's just me.
Why is everyone freaking out about him calling places stupid..? I could be wrong, but I don't think he was literally calling places stupid, just as a example that people do call Americans stupid and yet if we call any other country or place stupid or something, we're racist or full of ourselves etc. *shrugs* I could be wrong but that's how his post came across to me.
Little white flowers will never awaken you, not when the cold depths have all but overtaken you.
Dearest, The days are all so long,
and in the shadows I spend them all.
My heart and I long for slumber.
Slumber I'm caressing you, I bless your touch, I lust for you.
Slumber you are not a dream, Not as much as you seem.
